Description

Abstract

This essay started as an exploration of my relationship with two brothers and their challenges in life due to current child support enforcement laws. However, through the process, it transformed into an analysis of the profound impact of the death of a parent on other family relationships. Growing up in an addictive family system shaped my life. Through reading about micro and macro sociological theories I have continued the process of self-discovery that began slowly a few years ago.
